at FAR

I'm posting from aFAR (the Facility for Arts Research) at FSU where I'm cutting the frames for Variance Invariance (working title that I'm finding does not roll easily off the tongue). Here are some photos from yesterday and today. Thank you to Noah, Ashley, and Richard for making my experience at FAR easy and fun.

why swallowawindchime?

One day in the spring of 2011 I went to my website only to find it had disappeared. You've heard it before: my domain name had expired and before I could renew it a cybersquatter snatched it up and offered it back for a price. Steam shooting from my ears, I began surfing forums for answers. Finally, I turned to the great nullifier, facebook. That's when I saw those four words that said it all: swallow a wind chime! I thought, yeah, swallow a fucking wind chime, cybersquatter! But the story isn't negative. Turns out swallowing a small wind chime can really spice up your love life, and that's why it became my new domain name.
